Kenya
Tumai is working with an engineering firm, along with LEWA, in an effort to establish
sanitary water wells and pumps in five African villages, allowing permanent,
safe water sources to be available to more than 100,000 individuals residing
in these areas. In all five villages, well sites have been identified and safe
water supplies have been defined that rest within 30 feet of the surface. Drilling
is expected to begin in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2008.
